The Finance Innovation Lab is an incubator for systems change in finance.
Jointly hosted by World Wide Fund for Nature) and ICAEW (the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales), it was launched in 2008 and in 2012, was named one ‘50 New Radicals, changing the face of Britain for the better’ by NESTA and The Observer newspaper.
We aim to incubate and accelerate new forms of prosperity, for people and planet.
We believe we need to innovate across the whole financial system at once, for change to happen.
We do this in three ways;
- We incubate new business models, innovation in mainstream and new forms of civil society
- We accelerate the capacity of leaders to create change
- We create the wider conditions for change by raising awareness, creating supportive communities and advocating for policy change
We work with people from a broad spectrum of backgrounds, including mainstream finance, the creative industries, academia, NGOs and the alternative business and finance world.

Good morning,
We’ve just discovered your work, and have posted a note about it to our front news page this morning (www.axiomnews.ca). We’re intrigued!

Dear FL
I am writing to let you know about our launch on Tuesday 29 January for a new grassroots initiative around business ethics which is beginning in The City of London. The project is called Good works and it is about creating a peer network for professionals and entrepreneurs to help each other to be more ethical. It is inspired by the Principles of Catholic Social Teaching but open to people of all faiths and none. Please let us know who might be interested in this initiative at the Finance Lab. My mobile is 07714 216 790.
Thank you.
